My name is Lisa, I'm 33 years old and I am from a small city in South Eastern Ontario not too far from Ottawa. I am a warm hearted person. I am a bit of a dork. I enjoy writing, drawing, video editing and reading. I can be both a smart ass and a dumb ass, sometimes simultaneously.

I just want to meet some nice people and be social. I would love to make some new friends and message each other back and forth. When it comes to love I am not necessarily looking for it as I am secure in being single but I have my eyes wide open so if someone special crosses my path I won't miss them.

For me, being friends with someone is the most important first step in any relationship. I'm not looking for something complicated just some cool people that want to hang out and geek it up with me about our favourite shows or enjoy general silliness with.

I'm talkative, somewhat forgetful, easily distracted by shiny objects but also highly focused when it comes to activities that interest me. I can be witty, silly, good company and totally random. I tend to have a positive attitude most of the time and could be considered chipper, except in the mornings because mornings should be outlawed. I have a high sense of empathy which allows me to be a pretty perceptive person when it comes to other peoples feelings. I am not overly logical or practical, though I can be when necessary, I'm oddly awesome in high pressure situations.

I have respect for myself and others. I try to be the best friend I can be to the people in my life because I believe we all deserve the best out of each other. My family is awesome and supportive of me which I can't be more grateful for and they are just really swell people. I'm a self proclaimed dork. I dig boardgames and movie nights. I love the night. The darkness and silence soothes something in me and I love just walking around at night or looking at the stars especially when I'm out in the country.

I'd like to think that I am relatively intelligent but I suppose it all depends on who I'm being compared to. I'm extremely right brained so I'm artistic and very visual. I draw portraits, paint, amongst other things. I am an open minded person and when I say that I mean that I don't take offense to other peoples ideas and beliefs just because they don't match up with mine. I like to hear about other peoples culture, beliefs and whatnot and I don't mind agreeing to disagree on certain things.

In any relationship I want someone to love me for who I am, not who I could be. I want someone who likes being around me just because they think I am great and fun to spend time with. I want someone who will call me on my bullsh*t and then hug me. I want someone who can share my life but still keep their own. I want someone to snuggle up to and watch movies with. I want someone that shares my sense of humour. I want someone that's not afraid to be who they are, fully. I want someone who is feminine, curvy and sensual. I want to be with someone that I have awesome chemistry with. I need an honest love.

My happy ending would involve a woman that just "gets" me and we would have crazy chemistry, so much so that my body would shake with the feeling of it. I would want to travel with her and stay still with her, joke with her, cuddle with her, have mind blowing orgasms with her, read to her, dance and play with her, support her, encourage her, sleep with her, stay awake with her all night, sit at a bonfire roasting marshmallows with and eventually grow old and wrinkly with.

Hi, everyone,
we are hoping to find an lgbt-friendly playgroup for our child, so he won't grow up thinking he's the only kid who ever had two moms. Failing that, we are seeking loads of mature, responsible friends to socialize with in the Brampton, Ontario area, with the same purpose in mind.
Does anyone have any suggestions? We can't seem to find anything like this!
