It's Vegan Challenge Month in April here on SHOE. Editors and users from the lesbian social websites SHOE and the german site phenomenelle will take on a joint 30 Day Vegan Challenge. About 10 english speaking and 10 german speaking users are taking part in this unique experiment. They write about their personal experience on being a vegan for 30 days in their BLOGS and/or BUBBLES. They will write, share photos and/or videos.

Why are you doing this challenge?

We would like to experience something together - as a community - and hopefully during this whole month we will have a lot to laugh about, share, experience, expermiment. And who knows, if we can raise some awareness for animals and the enviroment, that would make us smile all day long - forever

What is a vegan ?

Veganism is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes meat, eggs, dairy products and all other animal-derived ingredients. Many vegans also do not eat foods that are processed using animal products, such as refined white sugar and some wines.
