Hello fellow shoes! I am currently striving to get my bachelors degree in English with a teaching credential. I love to read and write letters. Especially through snail mail. I love to practice my writing skills. I am almost done with my AA in English. I love poetry and creative writing. I don't have a favorite author of all time, but reading, writing and listening to music are my way of dealing with stress, so I don't become sick.
My idea of friendship is to give my future friend a lot of support. I will do all that I can to help you. When I get in the caregiver role, my illnesses go to the back of my mind and I forget about pain for a while. I am sure you agree too that less pain is a good thing.
I love to write poetry. My last powerful poem was called Sorry For Your Loss, which discussed the feelings I had when I lost my father without warning. One day he was with us, the next day, he was barely hanging on. When my father left, was one of the hardest thigs I had to face in that time.
Since then, I have been trying to look for a walking partner and a friend I could talk to. My name is Patricia. I live in the middle of nowhere which is cool. I hate crowds. Anywho, don't be shy. Well, I get the opportunity to travel at some point this year. I'd like to meet folks from the area when I go. Peru, Thailand, somewhere I've never been but always wanted to go. I'll be traveling alone and would love advice, or suggestions about traveling alone in these countries. I'd also love to meet women who are enjoying life and like to meet new people....

I got nothin' but friendship in my mind just want to enjoy my trips and meet new people see the ancient architecture and ruins and temples etc...

I haven't been active on SHOE for some time, but now would like to try to make some new friends, and maybe more. The location doesn't really matter because it would be nice meet people from other states and countries, not just California.

Some of my interests are writing, reading, movies, theatre, travel and language study. If you would like to chat, I look forward to hearing from you.
